Mission Challenge
It was the Lord Jesus who informed His disciples of His plan to build His Church (Matthew 16:18). It was Jesus who gave the twelve apostles their mission instructions to go into the world and make other disciples (Matthew 28:19-20). It was Jesus who sent the Holy Spirit to empower those who would continue His mission on earth (Acts 1:8). It was Jesus who gave McCullers the mandate to continue His earthly ministry until He returns (John 14:12). Scripture teaches the power of God is unleashed in acts of obedience (Philippians 4:13). It was Jesus who prayed to the Father the unity of believers would testify to the Father’s love for His Son and for all His Creation (John17:23). As we move forward to engage in this Kingdom-building mission, we expect great things.
